What a time to be alive. Jimmy Fallon is no stranger to wacky—he's one of the few guys on late night TV that can pull it off. That's why it makes total sense that he and last night's guest on the Tonight ShowCharlize Theron, took the opportunity to pick each other's outfits, invent characters for each other, and write a song together with the Roots.

"I, I don't know how to say this," said Fallon, who was wearing a full-length pink pantsuit, fur vest, tinted sunglasses and a wig reminiscent of Lord Farquaad's bowlcut from Shrek—all chosen for him by Theron. "Am I a man or a woman?"

Both Fallon and Theron were both rocking massive platform shoes and basically couldn't stop giggling. Theron informed Fallon that his new character is a woman, and her name is Rosetta McClintock.

Theron, on the other hand, was wearing gold MC Hammer pants, a jacket with dollar bill signs hanging off the shoulders, and a top hat (because, duh). Fallon said her character's named was just "Bonaza," and she used to play bass for Prince, which is sure to be Theron's most compelling role since Monster.

The two then wondered over to the Tonight Show's band and Theron failed miserably at playing the bass. Watch the wonderful gag above.
