Bruce Jenner has been sued for his involvement in a fatal car crash in February. TMZ reports the stepchildren of the woman who died are suing Jenner for wrongful death, claiming he was "careless and negligent." Video reportedly shows Jenner was at fault and hit the woman's car, sending her into oncoming traffic. Police have said he wasn't paying attention to the road.
The lawsuit says Jenner was speeding, but the L.A. County Sheriff's Department refutes this claim. The department is still investigating the crash, but TMZ says it's unlikely that Jenner will be prosecuted.
It may also be difficult for the stepchildren to receive any damages. They're the woman's only living relatives but reportedly had little of a relationship with her. Their claim of "loss of affection" may not hold up.
