Exclusive Clip: Watch Steve-O Out-Act Samuel L. Jackson in 'Barely Lethal'

'Barely Lethal' pulled off something no one thought was possible.

Barely Lethal flips the YA model on its head. Usually, Cool Teens—Katniss, Tris, whoever's the star of the Maze Runner movies—take on whatever obstacles are thrust upon them without batting an eye. Enter into a deathmatch to save my little sister and then eventually topple an entire government? SURE WHY NOT! But Barely Lethal, starring Hailee Steinfeld as the Cool Teen, is about what happens when an adolescent girl does not want to become a secret agent, and instead just wants to live a normal life. Obviously that secret agent stuff comes into play—this isn't just a movie about high school drama—but at least the semblance of normal teenage behavior is there.

If the premise alone hasn't hooked you, then maybe this clip will. Because this clip, featuring Steinfeld and Samuel L. Jackson, is video evidence of Steve-O, that guy who used to puke up goldfish, stealing a movie. He isn't the focus of the scene above, but he gets all the laughs.

Let's be honest, any movie that can let Steve-O be hilarious in 2015 is noteworthy. Check out the clip above and then peep the movie—following its premiere on DirecTV, Barely Lethal will be available On Demand and in theaters on May 29.

Keep doing you, Steve-O.
