As previously reported, FX's American Horror Story companion series American Crime Story has made some remarkably spot-on casting decisions — including David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, Cuba Gooding, Jr. as O.J. The series, conceived by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, centers on the murder trial of O.J. Simpson — a cataclysmic moment in the merging of American pop culture and the intricacies of the courtroom that still remarkably dominates the mainstream conversation two decades later. Alexander and Karaszewski will reportedly pen all 10 episodes of the series, which will likely follow the pattern of American Horror Story — i.e. a different narrative and related subtitle for each season.
