The thought of the Twin Peaks revival going forward without David Lynch is too much to bear for everyone not named David Lynch. Soon after he announced he was leaving the show because of budget disputes with Showtime, the network released a statement saying it was trying to resolve the financial disagreements. Even the actors are getting in the mix, releasing a video campaigning for the glorious return of the surrealist filmmaker.

Mädchen Amick has led the charge with a Facebook video called "Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like…" In it a grip of actors, including Amick, Sheryl Lee, and Dana Ashbrook, put forward their best similes as a tribute to the show's creator. They've even started an official Facebook page for their efforts.

The next logical move is for fans to create their own "Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like…" videos. And if that doesn't work, there's no stop that should remain unpulled. Because Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like us writing a Kanye West article without being called dickriders in the comment section.
