One day someone is going to figure out how to reboot your childhood. I don't mean that as a metaphor. You'll strap on a pair of goggles and find yourself in your childhood home. Your parents will be nicer to you, time will pass by slower, and your toughest decision will be whether to watch your favorite show on Nick or play your favorite Nintendo 64 game. Until that happens, we'll just have to settle for every single show from our childhood getting a reboot. The networks seem intent on making that happen.

Next on the conveyor belt of revivals is The Muppets. ABC is filming a proof of concept featuring the variety-show puppets, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sources say it'll be show to Madison Avenue advertisers next month, and if all goes well it'll be ordered as a full series.

The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady is penning the script with Bob Kushell, who's known best for Anger Management and 3rd Rock From the Sun. Kushell will also serve as the show's showrunner.

We wish Jason Segal would continue his involvement with the puppets after writing the 2011 film, but he already declined to work on the sequel.
