Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who is currently on trial for his alleged role in the Boston Bombing, has been indicted by a grand jury for murdering a MIT police officer. Officer Sean Collier was killed three days after the bombing in the midst of a manhunt for Dzhokhar and his brother, Tamerlan.
Following Collier's murder the Tsarnaev brothers went on a crime spree that included a carjacking, a shootout with police, Tamerlan's death, and eventually Dzhokhar's capturing.
The Middlesex County, Mass., district attorney's office says it plans to prosecute Dzhokhar after his current trial is completed. His lawyers are arguing Dzhokhar was under the influence of his brother, who was the mastermind behind the attacks.
