At Comic-Con, Tomorrowland was teased by writer Damon Lindelof, the co-creator of Lost, as being “what Hogwarts is to magic, Tomorrowland is to science.” Judging by the teaser spot that was dropped during last night's Super Bowl, that intensely labored science appears to include a lapel pin that can transport someone who touches it to some other dimension with rockets, tubular motorways, lots of Hugo-gears, an awestruck Hugh Laurie, and a very hopeful George Clooney.

What else is in this new magical (and ultra-scientific?) world? We'll have to wait until May 22 to find out when animation director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant) makes his live-action debut. And whether or not Lindelof is full of shit.
