Hey, we all have our quirks. Lena Dunham certainly has more than her fair share, and last night on The Late Late Show with special guest host Judd Apatow she opened up about the many odd habits she had when first learning to live with OCD.
After hearing from fellow guest Adam Sandler that his good friend Chris Farley also had OCD and would lick everything as a result, Dunham disclosed that in order for her to avoid actually having sex with Farley when she was younger, she used to imagine herself having sex with him. Apparently, seeing the act in her mind was enough to prevent it from happening in reality.
Some quick math will tell you that Farley when died in December of 1997, Dunham was 11 years old. One would have to assume (hope?) that she wasn’t going through this fantasy until after Farley was no longer on this earth, which means that even if she hadn’t thought about having sex with the comedian, it was not possible for her fear to come true. Then again, maybe this is all just assigning way too much logic to what goes on in Dunham’s brain.
