After the rampant vulgarity of the original Hot Tub Time Machine, it’s hard to imagine them jumping up another level. Then you see new cast member Adam Scott foaming at the mouth, and you realize that we’ve probably just started scratching the surface.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 will hit theaters on February 20, an unexpected sequel to an unexpected hit (the first movie netted a big profit, the goal for all comedies). John Cusack is out and Scott is in as his son, which doesn’t totally make sense, but whatever, just go with it.
Scott joins the uber-successful Lou (Rob Corddry), Nick (Craig Robinson), and Jacob (Clark Duke), who all amassed huge fortunes thanks to their escapades in the first movie. If the nudity, gunfire, and rude comments are any indication, it looks like the future is bright.
