The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1—because splitting up the final installment of a franchise is lucrative trendy— reigned supreme at this weekend’s box office for the third week in a row, despite mixed reviews.

Sure this post-Thanksgiving weekend was particularly lackluster, minus one glimmer of hope, the Reese Witherspoon-led Wild, it’s still worth noting Mockingjay’s box office power. But Mockingjay will have to give up the crown next week when some of the year’s buzziest films premiere: Ridley Scott’s long awaited Exodus: Gods and Kings, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice, and last but not least, Chris Rock’s Top Five.
