Yesterday Michael Moore was one of many in Hollywood who voiced their displeasure about Sony canceling The Interview. In doing so he also managed to throw shade at the Transformers series and make a statement a request we co-sign: no more Transformers movies, please.
Dear Sony Hackers: now that u run Hollywood, I'd also like less romantic comedies, fewer Michael Bay movies and no more Transformers.

It doesn't look like Moore is going to get his wish, though. Mark Wahlberg said in an interview yesterday he's committed to making "a couple more" Transformers films. This news comes after Michael Bay himself, father of the series incapable of going away forever, said he's found better things to do and won't come back for a fifth film.
Now the question is who will take Bay's place. (And when oh when will we stop being plagued with these movies). Expect only one of those to be answered soon if Paramount plans on going forward with Transformers 5 for a 2016 release.
