Even if you've been paying attention to news in the basest, most cursory capacity, you'll have no doubt realized that 2014 was what they'd call a "big" news year.

Granted, most of that news consisted of the sort of stories that would make us crawl into the closest bottle and take turns cutting ourselves to see who could go deepest before we passed out. Anywaze™, 2014 was dutifully reported by the legions of message force multipliers in cable and local news with the sort of bumbling aplomb that's come to define old media in the 21st century. Whether it was CNN's Tech Analyst Brett Larson referring to 4Chan as some sort of 'system administrator' while reporting the celebrity nude hacks, Stephen A. Smith attempting to mansplain how women can best avoid "provoking wrong actions" to avoid forcing their man to punch-teach them whilst reporting on Ray Rice, or everyone's patron saint of fuccbois the world-over, Don Lemon, ani-morphing into the Willam Kristol of CNN by being nearly constantly wrong throughout all of 2014.

This year was garbage and we've got the footage to prove it. This is the year in News Anchor Fuckery: 2014 Edition.
