"Avengers: Age of Ultron" Is Getting a Reshoot Because It's Somehow Lacking in Action

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" is reportedly reshooting to add more action scenes.

If there's one thing we can count on when Avengers: Age of Ultron premieres May 15 it's plenty of action. To make sure that's the case director Joss Whedon has called back the cast for reshooting. Apparently the first round of filming, which wrapped in August, didn't have enough "kick-ass on an extravagant scale."

In other words, there's more shit to blow up.

Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, and Tom Hiddleston have all been asked to make themselves available for two weeks in January, according to the Daily Mail. It's unknown whether they'll all be needed, but Whedon wants his bases covered to ensure audiences are blown away next year.

At this rate Avengers 3 will need a re-reshoot to top its predecessor.
