The selfie game is a dangerous one, and at the Puente de Triana bridge—a highly-popular tourist spot in Seville, Spain—it proved to be fatal.

A Polish tourist was angling for a selfie at just the right angle, and instead of snapping the perfect Insta photo slipped and fell backwards, slamming into the concrete footings some 15 feet below. She went into cardiac arrest while medics worked on her, and ultimately died from her injuries.

A spokesman for the city gave a perfunctory answer when approached by the Central European News, saying that “This was a tragic accident and we are looking to make that stretch of boulevard along the river safer.”

What are they going to do, exactly, to prevent similar selfie-mishaps from occurring? Ban cameras? Selfies specifically?
