With the decision coming down this week not to indict Ferguson, Mo. police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of Michael Brown, the spotlight has once again turned to race relations both in the nation as a whole as well as between police and those they serve.
The New Yorker has chosen to key in on this issue, and the huge divide they still feel exists in this country. The cover-which uses contrasting black and white colors on either side of a broken St. Louis Arch-provides a powerful image that will hopefully further the conversation and help in the healing process.
