Matt Damon will play former CIA assassin Jason Bourne again, the actor confirmed, after his bro Ben Affleck basically told everyone anyway.

During an event to promote Damon and Affleck's HBO show Project Greenlight, Affleck was talking about getting in shape for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when he told E! News:

"Well, [Damon's] going to be doing a Bourne movie next fall when I've just completely lost any semblance of physical fitness. So….,"

When they asked Damon about it, he confirmed it was back to Bourne for him.

"Yes, next year. It'll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that's all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes."

Damon had said before that he wouldn't make another Bourne film unless Greengrass, who directed him in The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ulimatum, agreed to return also.

In other, more important news. Affleck and Damon weighed in on who would win in a fight between Bourne and Batman, as Affleck told Access Hollywood, "If Batman is fighting Superman, I think he's a little past Jason Bourne."
