You know when your teachers put your brain in a total pretzel when they posed the following question:

“Which falls faster, a bowling ball or a feather?”

(It’s a tie, because of gravity. Duh.)

But how do you actually know that your teacher wasn’t lying? Brian Cox and the BBC show Human Universe dared to answer that question by visiting NASA’s Space Power Facility in Cleveland to determine whether Isaac Newton and every teacher you ever had was totally BSing you.

You see, this facility is home to the world’s largest vacuum chamber, which means that all air resistance can be removed from the equation. The result? You probably already have a sneaking suspicion, but it’s still kind of incredible to watch.

Yeah, science!
