Despite all the race-card pulling and after-the-fact campaigning, Daniele Watts, the Django Unchained actress who was caught allegedly having sex with her boyfriend outside CBS Studios in September, has been charged with lewd conduct, according to TMZ.
After Watts and Brian Lucas were apprehended by police, she accused the cops of racism and refused to hand over any identification. In the days following the arrest, the actress penned an LA Times op-ed in which she defended herself and compared the LAPD's treatment of her to the Michael Brown situation in Ferguson, Mo., all while insisting that she and Lucas were not having sex in his car.
But with various witnesses—and photographs of Watts straddling Lucas—prosecutors felt there was enough evidence to charge the two. Lewd conduct is a crime punishable by a maximum of six months in jail.
So the lesson remains—if you're going to bang in a car, DON'T do it in front of an office building.
