Ryan Murphy has a whole bunch more stories to share with you.
Murphy’s American Horror Story companion show (with the very original title of American Crime Story) just received a straight-to-series order from FX, meaning it will skip the pilot stage and will instead launch right into shooting the full season. Its focus will be on infamous crimes in U.S. history, and like AHS will be presented in a 10-episode “miniseries” format.
The first season will tackle the infamous O.J. Simpson trial, and will be told from the perspective of the lawyers who participated in all manner of behind-the-scenes legal wrangling. Will there be any fanged clowns or three-boobed ladies? Time will tell.
