Respected political pundit and beard enthusiast Phil Robertson made an appearance on Fox News yesterday to discuss how the U.S. ought to handle radical Islamic movements like ISIS, and his ideas will probably not come as much of a shock.
Angry over the execution of journalist Steven Sotloff, Robertson had one piece of advice for President Obama: “either convert them or kill them.” Sounds kind of like a bumper sticker, or maybe even a potential campaign slogan if Robertson ever decides to run for office.
Of course, then we might also have to consider the fact that he is a loud and proud homophobe, which might not be a great look for him. But then again, people seem to keep watching the show anyway, so perhaps he has not alienated himself as much as initially thought.
