The ladies of Downton Abbey better prepare themselves. One of the most prolific bachelors of our time is on his way.
George Clooney is set to make an appearance in a Downton Abbey short film, which will air during the holidays this year on the British network ITV. His role has yet to be determined, but the engaged former bachelor will surely make the ladies swoon regardless of what he does.
Before you get to excited about Clooney returning to TV, though, it’s important to know that this is part of the network’s charity campaign Text Santa, and likely does not mean much beyond adding a little flash to their holiday fundraising drive. Nevertheless, it’s perfectly OK to dream of Clooney trying out a British accent and wearing knickers.
