Here's some casting news that adds up to one giant, hip, young, ball of hip, young hipness, and also makes perfect sense.

Director and Oscar-winning screenwriter Spike Jonze is going to guest star on Season four of HBO's series Girls

There isn't much info on the role, except that Jonze will play a character named Marco, according to TVLine, but this definitely sounds like a good fit for the Lena Dunham-created show, which has seen guest spots from Patrick Wilson, Chris O'Dowd and Colin Quinn over its first three seasons.

Jonze won an Oscar for the screenplay for Her, which he also directed. As an actor, he appeared in a cameo in Wolf of Wall Street opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, and more recently played an old lady in Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa

Season 4 of Girls will debut sometime in 2015. We can only hope there's a subplot that involves Shoshanna dating her iPhone.
