While the doomed romance of Carrie (Claire Danes) and Brody (Damian Lewis) may have made for some dramatic moments, it also made for an overly-weepy Carrie. And honestly, the best Carrie is a kickass Carrie who is out hunting down terrorists.
So when hearing Danes say things like “it’s a job” in this new trailer for the upcoming season of Homeland should be a great comfort to fans. Well that, and showrunner Alex Gansa’s personal promise that there will be no Dana Brody this year.
Yeah, definitely both.
