We've known that Nintendo's upcoming exclusive title for the Wii U, Hyrule Warriors, will feature Link, Midna, Zelda, and Impa. However, the company recently announced that an entirely new character will be joining the battlefield as well. Her name is Lana, and she's a White Sorceress who you can watch in action above.
Her fighting style relies heavily on magic, and features a sort of rhythmic, fanciful quality that finds her cruelly dispensing of her enemies with ease. This is Lana's first-ever appearance in a video game, and it appears that she'll be a joy to use. She can lay waste to goblins and ghouls and still keep a smile on her face. That's what I call a fighting spirit.
Hyrule Warriors will be released for the Wii U on August 14.
