The original Shake Shack location will close for five months while it undergoes renovations.

According to Grub Street, head honcho Danny Meyer will close the Madison Square Park outpost, then reopen it next year with considerable upgrades. DNAinfo says these upgrades include "interior and exterior" kiosks:

None

Furthermore, Bragg noted that this process will not interrupt use of the park. He added that the new and improved Shake Shack should "hopefully" open in the winter.
