At E3 today Ubisoft provided an intriguing gameplay trailer for the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Unity. The title is set during the French Revolution and will feature four-player co-op gameplay for the first time in the Assassin's Creed series. As you can see from the video, it looks damn fun.

As you'll also see from the video, the game is not afraid to get graphic either. At the conclusion of the video, the four assassins throw a bourgeoisie society member into a crowd of rioting peasants. His head is then cut off and we are briefly given a look at the world through his quickly dying perspective. Cheery, no?

Unity will be available for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 during the 2014 holiday season.
