Authorities in Denmark have charged a trio with attempted smuggling and distribution after they were caught trying to move an estimated $8 millionworth of cocaine, officials say.

The Huffington Post reports that three men were arrested in Copenhagen, Denmark on Dec. 5 with 200 kilos of coke. Police spokesman Ole Madsen only noted that the suspects were of Danish, Colombian and German descent, declining to reveal their identities.

Furthermore, Madsen noted that the DEA aided Danish authorities in tracking the movements of the three men, thus leading to their arrest. Their trial will begin in September, and, if convicted, each could face a maximum of 16 years behind bars.
