If you love Glee and were horrified by reports last week that Naya Rivera had been fired, you can rest easy. She isn’t going anywhere.
After her representatives roundly denied reports of Rivera’s ouster from the wildly popular FOX show, the network today released a statement saying the following:
“There is no truth to the rumor Naya has been fired from the show. She remains under contract to Glee.”
So there you go. Naya is back, and all is well at William McKinley High School. With just one season to go in Glee’s run, it probably is just as well to avoid allowing the Rivera-Lea Michele drama to distract from the on-screen musical magic.
