She was easily one of the best parts about The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and now Emma Stone is looking to continue her takeover of the movie industry by signing on to star in Woody Allen’s next film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. As usual, no plot details have been leaked about the project, but it was revealed last week that Joaquin Phoenix has also signed on to star in the film.
This will be the second Allen movie that Stone has been a part of. Her first was Magic in the Moonlight, which is currently is post-production with a July release date planned. Allen is well known for working with the same actresses in numerous films before moving on to another muse, so this could just be the beginning for their collaboration. As we've seen with Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson, and Diane Keaton over the years, the actresses in Allen's films tend to give some of the best performances of their career under his tutelage, so you should expect no different with someone as talented as Stone.
