Tornadoes ripped through Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Iowa last night leaving at least 18 people dead, reports the Chicago Tribune.
Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe referred to the tornado in his state as "devastating," and deployed the Arkansas National Guard to help with disaster relief. As of this afternoon, more than 10,000 people were without power.
Unfortunately, as Arkansas is still searching for survivors, more tornadoes are expected to touch down today in the South. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a warning for parts of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama. Stay safe out there, you guys.
