The new trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is here, and if you liked the original, there is no reason not to be excited about this sequel. This 60-second trailer shows off the new cast members that will be causing havoc in Sin City, as well as some returning favorites, such as Marv and Nancy. In addition to Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and Mickey Rourke reprising their roles for this movie, A Dame to Kill For features new characters played by the likes of Josh Brolin, Eva Green, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
What’s immediately clear in this trailer is how similar this installment looks to the first one. While special effects have improved vastly since 2005, it’s apparent that director Robert Rodriguez isn’t changing what made Sin City so iconic. Don’t expect A Dame to Kill For to look like a polished $200 million blockbuster; instead, get comfortable with a film that looks a little rough around the edges, because that’s what the fans really want.
