Spoiler alert: the 2014 MTV Movie Awards weren't great. There was a lack of spontaneity, especially for what used to be the edgiest network on television. There were more than a few teleprompter issues, too—that or people who literally get paid to say things on camera can't say things on camera.

The Hunger Games won big, with "Best Movie" and "Best Male Performance" and "Best Female Performance" for Josh Hutcherson and an absentee Jennifer Lawrence. You can read our liveblog of the show here, but we also have a few ideas for the awards that should have been given out last night.
