The latest version of the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset is going on sale to developers today. This doesn’t do much for the average joe but it has implemented many of the improvements that Oculus VR has been putting into practice over the past year.
The system goes “on sale” to developers for $350 and this time includes an external motion sensing camera that allows from positional tracking, basically to let a user move around their heads to a greater degree. The company also said that the headset has a slight increase in weight but it's working on fixing that.
Stay tuned for more details on the coming virtual reality wave and check out the details of the new Oculus VR headset, the crystal cove.
