The final DLC in The Last of Us' season pass will reportedly contain a new difficulty mode for the single-player game, Naughty Dog has announced. While Naughty Dog didn't elaborate on what the details of the new mode might be – they said only that it's new – they did also announced that new weapons, maps and skills would also make an appearance in the game's multiplayer mode.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Left Behind, the single-player prequel expansion to the main game. Though no release date was announced, Naughty Dog did also release a short making-of documentary for Left Behind, which can be found (WARNING: SPOILERS) here. (To repeat: SPOILERS!)
Naughty Dog said they'll have more details on the final DLC as it gets closer to release.
