In case you missed out on some of the coolest (and most interesting) indie games to be released over the past year or two, GOG is throwing a pretty sweet sale in time for St. Patrick's day. Among the titles available – which have been discounted to up to a ridiculous 90 percent off – are Fez, The Swapper and Alan Wake, all of which if you haven't played (and have a great eye for aesthetics, interesting art direction and generally weird stuff) are must-plays.

Customers can also take advantage of a so-called luck of the irish deal, which lets users create their own five-game bundle from a selection of 25, with a "pot of gold" game not from the initial list selected at random.

Concurrent is the Big Games Sale, which gives players access to relatively recent releases at a deep discount. Some of the notables include The Banner Saga, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and the absolutely wonderful Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut, all slashed up to 75 percent.

If you're interested in picking some (or all) of these games up, the Big Games Sale ends at the somewhat arbitrary-sounding 6.59 am ET on Tuesday, March 18, while the Luck of the Irish sale ends at the even more arbitrary 6:09 am ET on Friday, March 21. Considering every single game mentioned above has wonderful artistic merit, it's amazing you're still even reading this.
