Last night Jimmy Fallon hosted his final Late Night, and even though he's moving to greener pastures, or as final guest Andy Samberg described it "across the hall, bigger stage," the affable comedian was still pretty emotional about it. After all, it was the 12:35 gig and his own brand of quirky comedy that he brought to it that elevated Fallon's star to the Tonight Show succeeding height that it's at now. It may not have been as big a deal overall as Jay Leno's departure—Fallon's only done 969 shows to Leno's 4,500—but Jimmy certainly didn't take it lightly.

In addition to Samberg, the Muppets served as this edition of Late Night's final guests, joining Jimmy for a rousing live performance of "The Weight." Fallon's fans all showed up to send him off: the hour was the show's highest rated episode. Watch Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang play Jimmy off and down the hall to his new gig. You can also watch his final monologue below. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon begins February 17.
