Every time a beloved children's character gets arrested in Times Square, a child's innocence dies. Anti-Semitic Elmo, who was sentenced to a year in jail for unrelated atrocious behavior last fall, had several inappropriate displays in Times Square in 2012. Last night, a man dressed as Woody from Toy Story was arrested on sex charges.
Around 8 p.m., two plainclothes officers busted 44-year-old José Vasquez for allegedly sexually abusing and forcibly touching several girls. He still had his Woody outfit on. Also, how inappropriately ironic is it that a man in full Woody attire was arrested for sex crimes? It's awful, absolutely awful.
Nothing is sacred.
