Tina Fey isn't the only comedienne planning to take over the sitcom producing game in 2014. A couple of weeks ago Parks & Rec's Rashida Jones and her producing partner Will McCormack sold a "dark workplace dramedy" to HBO, now the duo just scored an order for their fourth pilot in development, this time to NBC. A to Z is described as a romantic comedy, revolving around an online dating company, reportedly set to chronicle "the life of a relationship from introduction to destruction."

Meanwhile the Peacock has also ordered another pilot from another beloved funny woman, Casey Wilson, most famous for her role as the perennially unlucky-in-love Penny Hartz on ABC's gone-too-soon sitcom Happy Endings. Her pilot, The Mason Twins, will follow two fraternal twin sisters, one whose idyllic suburban life has just crumbled, the other suffering from arrested development, who reconnect after a fifteen year estrangement. Wilson penned the script and will serve as executive producer. With another comedy pilot, D.I.N.K.s, out to ABC and an engagement to Happy Endings creator David Caspe (who also just sold a comedy to NBC), 2014 may truly be the Year of Penny.
