Authorities in China discovered over three tons of crystal meth worth almost $300 million during a raid in Boshe, a tiny village in China's Guangdong Province.

The seizure took place last week, and the thousands of cops in helicopters and speedboats also discovered 570 pounds of ketamine, 100 tons of meth ingredients, weapons, ammunition and a bomb. The raid didn't go without conflict, either: 182 people—including village officials—were arrested; two officers were shot and one was hit by a car.

According to NBC News, meth is China's second-most popular drug behind heroin, and the Los Angeles Times notes that occupants of Boshe have complained about the electricity being used in meth labs resulting in power outages.
