Last night CBS aired the 2014 Most Pointless Award Ceremony of the Year, less commonly known as the People's Choice Awards, and those involved did their best to make it must-watch television. A cameo-heavy opening sketch! Justin Timberlake! Blonde and brunette comedienne tag-team hosts (that works for The Golden Globes, right?). Well, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings are no Amy Poehler and Tina Fey (people actually sit through 2 Broke Girls?!), and the ceremony was a predictable snooze, as dozens of celebrities, movies and series claimed the only awards they'll probably ever receive thanks to "the people" (read: the Tumblrs).

Nevertheless, we tuned in so you could flourish watching Modern Family and American Horror Story live. Here are all the noteworthy moments you missed:

Sean Hayes (who? Oh, right) randomly called Sandra Bullock his wife while presenting her with the award for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress. She went along with it, because Sandy's the realest.

Ellen tried to bogart JT's acceptance speech, before scoring her 14th consecutive win for Favorite Daytime TV Host.

Beth Behrs shrilly massacred "Baby Got Back" and a few other songs.

Shemar Moore's thirst got the better of him when he went off teleprompter script and hit on newly single co-presenter Malin Akerman.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries)_ awesomely addressed the irony of winning Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.

Norman Reedus and Allison Williams should've won an award for Best Randomest Presenter Pairing.

Jennifer Hudson and her sister warmed hearts while accepting the award for Favorite Humanitarians.

RDJ awesomely commanded the scene. Typical.

The standing ovation for Sarah Michelle Gellar reminded us of the Sunnydale Prom.

The night closed with Big Bang Theory's third consecutive win, which, along with wins for Reign (what? Oh, right), Beauty and the Beast, and Grown-Ups 2, confirmed these awards are, um, questionable?
