Since screenings at the Venice International Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival, Alfonso Cuarón's new film Gravity has been getting absolute rave reviews—and after viewing this full-length trailer, we can all finally understand why. The film stars Sandra Bullock as an ill-fated astronaut who is thrust into space with only George Clooney's voice over satellite to help guide her back.

At over two minutes long, this is the longest look at the film, and, suffice to say: It doesn't disappoint. Bullock is at her best as Dr. Ryan Stone, an astronaut sent up to work on the Hubble telescope when debris from a Russian satellite interferes and sends her flying into the depths of space. The trailer is prefaced with the following: "At 372 miles above the Earth there is nothing to carry sound. No air pressure. No oxygen. Life in space is impossible."

The film was recently praised by director James Cameron as well, who called it the "best" space film ever:

None

You can check out the trailer above. Gravity opens in theaters on October 4th.
