As Expected, the Cronut Hole Concrete Line Is Absurd

When it was announced that Dominique Ansel Bakery and Shake Shack were collaborating for the Cronut Hole Concrete (which would be available for one day only), you knew the line would be ridiculous. You knew, but nothing is ever quite like actually witnessing the madness. 

At 10 a.m. this morning, 1,000 of the hybrid snacks became available for $4.50 at Madison Square Park. All proceeds will go towards the  Madison Square Park Conservancy and the New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association Widows and Children’s Fund, so know that your money is going towards good causes and that your time in line will (hopefully) be rewarded with frozen treats.

By now, Ansel himself should be present to hand out snacks:
