"Arrested Development" Will Definitely Be Back on Netflix Soon

There's "no question" about it.

None

Since the unlikely fourth season premiered on Netflix this past May, the future of Arrested Development—AKA, the little series that could—hasn't been all too clear. Would there be a movie, like series creator Mitch Hurwitz had been talking about? A new season, not shot out of order this time? Would there even be anything?

Apparently, it could go either way: At a conference hosted by The Wrap recently, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos revealed that there's "no question" over at the video streaming site of whether or not more Arrested Development will be produced—it's just a matter of how, and when.

"It is just a matter of when and what form it takes," Sarandos said, adding that it's not clear whether or not the new content will be a movie, or a series, or a movie then a series. The only issue right now, he says, is getting the cast all together at once so the series isn't forced to use green screens to digitally insert characters into scenes like they had to in season four. With the main cast—including Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, Portia de Rossi, and Michael Cera—all working on other projects, carving out a time in everyone's schedules is the only obstacle they have to overcome.

Some consolation, though: In the meantime, Netflix original shows like Hemlock Grove, House of Cards, and Orange Is the New Black will all definitely be returning for a second season at some point soon.
