SIKE!

Microsoft released a YouTube app for Windows Phone back in May, which Google quickly had them remove because it didn't fit its terms and conditions. So, like any two civilized companies, Microsoft and Google worked together on a new YouTube app, which was released on Tuesday. Isn't it great when two companies can work togeth—

Oh, wait.

Google is now blocking the YouTube app from functioning properly. According to Google, the app is violating the terms of use, again: "Microsoft has not made the browser upgrades necessary to enable a fully-featured YouTube experience, and has instead re-released a YouTube app that violates our Terms of Service," said a Google spokesperson. "It has been disabled. We value our broad developer community and therefore ask everyone to adhere to the same guidelines."

There, there, Microsoft. You almost had it.
