EA has released a producer walkthrough of highlights of new features in The Sims 3: Into the Future expansion set for release in October.
Set in Oasis Landing, Into the Future allows Sims to transport back and forth from the future to the past constructing houses and acquiring robots, Plumbots, with trait chips as their companions. One interesting twist is that what a Sim does in the present will have effects on what takes place to their future descendants.
Check out the video and see what the future has to offer, apparently quite a bit of shaped facial hair and faux-hawks. The Sims 3: Into the Future drops on October 24 for Windows PC and Mac for $39.99.
