One day after appearing in court to watch her captor Ariel Castro get sentenced to life in prison, Michelle Knight returned to the Cleveland neighborhood where Castro held her hostage for a decade. Yesterday morning, Knight visited Seymour Avenue, taking pictures with neighbors and thanking everyone for their support.

Knight, 32, was abducted by Castro in August 2002. Of the three victims, she was held captive the longest.

Catherine Adames, who took photos of Knight's return, told Cleveland's ABC affiliate that Knight was "friendly, cute and I noticed her remarkable strength as a person who has been through so, so much." According to Adames, Knight said that she hopes Castro's home is replaced by a park with a statue of an angel. The home will reportedly be destroyed next week.
