Check Out What Mac OS X Would Look if it Were iOS 7 Styled

It could be happening sometime soon.

iOS 7 is still on the horizon (only developers have the beta versions now), but once it hits, it's bound to be the talk of all iPhone owners, and we have a feeling it's going to be a love it or hate it kind of situation.

But what if iOS 7's designer, Jony Ive, messed with Mac OS X? Crazy? Not so much. Considering how closely tied in Apple's products are, it could happen—maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but sometime down the line. So, designer Stu Crew took the time to craft what Mac OS X may one day look like; and the results are stylish, to say the least.

"iOS 7 will change Apple's software design dramatically leaving OS X behind," Crew says. "In order to visualise the new style on a Mac screen I recreated several elements and applied them to several programs. Created to explore the idea of an updated OS X this is just a update of looks with a few new functions taken from both the iPhone and iPad."

Check out some of the best concept photos above, and more at Crew's page. What do you think? Excited at the glimpse into the would-be future, or should Apple stay away from Jony Ive's design?
