Thanks to some new multiplayer footage released from Gamescom, we can confirm that Killzone: Shadow Fall has team deathmatch, assault rifles and grenades in matches with up to 24 players. It also runs at 60 FPS (not in single player), lending a generally faster-paced feel to the new game.
But that’s not really the cool part. What’s great about this video is the visuals – explosively colorful in ways unseen in most first-person shooters, and sporting some really wonderful lighting and digital cinematography, so to speak. (Check out the Bokeh effects around 2:44). If this is what a next-gen firefight looks like, you may just want to spectate for the aesthetics.
