"Poetry might be defined as the clear expression of mixed feelings."

That's what poet W.H. Auden wrote in his poem, "New Year Letter," in 1941. A poem might mean different things to different people, and in 2013, that's as true as ever. Then comes in Google Poetics, a Tumblr and Twitter account that collects Google poetry: a collection of the four lines that appear when you type in a few words into Google's search box. Google poems often come off as funny, sad, reflective, and straight up crazy. But since Google's autofill options are based on our most popular search requests, this is the only type of "poetry" we can all say we collectively came up with. Here are our picks of the best of these beautifully deranged poems.
